Kiara is a Peruvian-American therapist born and raised in Lima, Peru. Her American roots brought her to the University of Oregon for her undergraduate studies in Psychology, where she also found Buddhism. After working as a counselor at an anti-Human Trafficking Agency in Lima, Peru, Kiara moved to Los Angeles to obtain a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. Kiara uses her bicultural and bilingual background to serve diverse populations and is currently taking Hispanic and non-Hispanic clients. Her practice includes Relational Gestalt and Mindfulness Techniques. Kiara aims to help clients achieve integration and self-compassion by creating a collaborative, non-judgmental, safe space for them to process struggles in their lives.
