All About Love

In this group inspired by bell hooks’ book “All About Love” we will explore and discuss topics regarding love including: What is love? How do we love? How we know it’s love? Loving behavior, building connections to foster love, platonic and romantic love, the complex meanings of phrases like “I love that” or “ I love you”).
What you can expect from this group is meaningful discussions and explorations of the vast array of topics related to love. We will begin with a check-in, introduce the topic with a little background on why we chose it, and then start the discussion. Our group will end with a recap of the topics we discussed, addressing the questions we asked about love that night.
Everyone is welcome here. Whether you come to talk, listen, or just exist alongside others, you are invited as you are. You’re welcome to join as often as your schedule allows. There’s no pressure for consistent attendance, and no need to notify us if you can’t make it.
