Ciaran Kane Phelps, AMFT

I am a white, queer, trans, nonbinary, neurodivergent counselor. My therapeutic work is rooted in queer- and trans-affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed practice. I believe that healing is possible. I am here to support you in that process and in deepening your understanding of your own strength and resilience.

I work relationally and collaboratively, and I center curiosity in my work. I believe that awareness and embodiment are key components to healing. I also support folks in understanding the ways that colonialist/capitalist societal values and structures have impacted them and the way they may have internalized these messages. I am intersectional in my approach, and I desire to support and honor the intersections you hold and how you navigate the world within the context of your own unique experience. While my areas of focus are neurodivergence (autism, ADHD, BPD) and gender-related support, I have experience working with folks from a variety of different intersections and experiences.

Others have described my therapeutic style as warm, gentle, and caring. I am also curious and interested in knowing the things that are already working in your life, and the strategies you have already learned which have gotten you to where you are today. I enjoy working with both youth and adults, and I welcome folks of any age to contact me and see whether I am the right person to support you in your healing journey.

I am not currently accepting new clients, but please email me to be added to the wait list:
