My approach to mental health is humanistic, collaborative and built on the belief that every individual is unique. I maintain that you are the expert on your own life and I relish the opportunity to be invited into your world to begin creating a relationship where vulnerability feels safe and accessible. As a therapist who values honesty, vulnerability, and transparency, I will show up in ways that embody those values to challenge traditional ways of relating and self-regulating. Together we will create a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where we can explore how you relate to yourself, your body, and how you show up in relationship to people, society, culture, and nature.
I practice with an optimistic, active, and engaged style that helps me attune to your experience while still feeling grounded. Through questions, reflections, and mindfulness & meditation exercises we will broaden your awareness of self and your relational processes. Additionally, I offer breath work and body awareness exercises to ground in the present moment, teaching tangible skills you can use in your daily life to help you listen to your body. Together we will seek to identify your values, communication styles, needs, and desires so that you can build clear boundaries with others and live a life you feel fulfilled by.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have navigated the city (and the associated challenges of it) as an adolescent and adult. I lived in Miami for five years before returning home to pursue a career in mental health and feel extremely grateful to have found a therapeutic family at The Relational Center. I am an avid fruit and vegetable gardener and feel extremely passionate about my relationship with nature. I love to hike, bike, run, walk, and be outdoors, especially when the sun is out.
