Julia Willinger, LMFT

In the therapy room, I use a collaborative, trauma-informed and shame-free approach in order to support you in navigating life’s challenges. I am deeply passionate about joining people on their journey, meeting you wherever you currently are on your path. I show up authentically with an attentive, curious, and compassionate approach, balancing soul centered, and spiritual interventions with contemporary psycho-education rooted in nervous system research. I combine my background in creativity, having worked in the music industry, with my knowledge in the field of mindfulness, trauma informed care and embodiment, self-compassion, interpersonal neurobiology, relational therapy, depth psychology and harm-reduction. I also offer Brainspotting for deeper trauma work.

I am committed to equity and social justice in both my personal and professional life. I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, parts work, and life transitions. I love to support people in connecting with a sense of purpose and meaning. I identify as an introvert and an HSP. I am trained in Buddhism, yoga, and meditation, which all play a big role in my personal and professional life, as does writing and reading poetry.
