Kit Winter, AMFT

My approach to therapy is caring, curious, playful, and collaborative. I work with my clients to explore how their experiences shape their understanding of themselves and their place in the world. In doing so, I help my clients become aware of the patterns that limit their ability to embody their authentic selves. I work with teens and adults on issues including identity development/self-actualization, toxic shame, life transitions, existential anxiety, climate anxiety, and the search for meaning. With couples and families, my work focuses on improving communication and fostering emotional connection to create relationships in which the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts.

I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation via Zoom so that I can answer any other questions you might have, or just to say hello and see if it seems like a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
