Building Resilience for BIPOC Individuals
The purpose of this group is to provide a supportive, inclusive, and affirming environment for BIPOC individuals to express their issues with anxiety as a result of minority stress. Topics will include developing coping skills, minority stress and developing resilience, emotion management practices and skills, mindfulness and self-care techniques. This is an education group that will take place over 10 weeks, that will help participants to create their own anxiety “tool kit” that they can use as a support in their everyday life.
